The President's Volunteer Service Award program is a government run organization which encourages students to volunteer and help the community. This award is given to students who complete a certain amount of service hours in a 12-month period. Best Academy is a proud certifying organization of this award.

Best Academy provides volunteer opportunities for middle school and high school students throughout the year. During the school year, students may tutor, grade papers, or do office work. During the Summer, students may volunteer by partaking in various afternoon club activities (Chess club, Debate club, Drama club, etc.), tutoring, grading papers, and assistant teaching. Habitat for Humanity is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that builds houses for the less fortunate around the world. With the help of donations and volunteers, Habitat has built or repaired over 600,000 houses worldwide.

The Fountainhead Essay Contest is open worldwide to 11th and 12th graders.
