Welcome Letter

Dear Best Academy Parents:

It is my privilege to welcome all students and parents to our 26th Annual Summer Enrichment Camp at Best Academy.

While I am very much excited about the opening of our summer academy for the twenty-sixth year, I also have to admit that this is an unusual time for all of us. We are being faced with challenges and unknowns caused by the current COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced all of us to adapt to a new normal in so many different ways. For me, it was personally heartbreaking and difficult to finally accept the reality that we would not be having the in-person interactions with students that I have so cherished and enjoyed at Best Academy for the past twenty-six years. Offering our summer program via an online platform would be one more new norm that all of us have to adapt to, and I fully understand that we are all approaching this situation with different levels of concerns, apprehensions, and uneasiness. With that understanding, it is my sincere hope that all of our parents and students would join us in taking on this opportunity as a new challenge. Though it will be a new experience for all of us, and though we may lack the same close personal interactions between teachers and students that we considered normal in previous years, I am truly excited about the features and technologies that our teachers will use in their virtual classrooms to help students to fully engage and actively participate in class instructions and other special activities.
Most of all, I am excited about the prospect of facing this new challenge, working hard with all students, parents, and teachers to make this summer a memorable, productive, and successful experience for all of us. For the next eight weeks, all of us at Best Academy, both teachers and staff members, will do our very best to teach our students to the best of our abilities, continuing to challenge them to learn and grow as students and individuals as we have done for the past twenty-six years. As our motto reads, our effort to help our students to "Believe" in themselves and "Achieve" their goals of becoming valuable assets to society will continue this summer!

Again, I would like to personally thank all parents for entrusting their children to us during this difficult time, and I welcome all students to our new, exciting virtual 2020 Summer Best Academy!
